Production Planning and Optimization

Evaluate customer demands to create a feasible production plan.

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely delivery deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish production/manpower capacity for the factory and convert customer demands into a production plan.
  2. Negotiate and resolve conflicts related to material availability, capacity, and order fulfillment with different departments.
  3. Maintain SAP Production Order release schedule and coordinate with Warehouse and Material Handling Team to ensure timely provision of materials.
  4. Review MRP execution to ensure accuracy and reconcile supply and demand as necessary.
  5. Prepare performance reports highlighting issues and bottlenecks impacting production schedules and delivery deadlines.
  6. Document planning/scheduling guidelines and processes, and support analysis and implementation of new best practices.
  7. Work closely with Sales/CS, Purchasing, and Warehouse/Logistics departments to update demand forecast and ensure on-time ordering and delivery of raw materials and finished goods shipments.
  8. Monitor actual production progress against the production plan and intervene as necessary to maintain schedule alignment.
  9. Monthly reconciliation of stock balances and rectification of inventory discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or relevant studies degree.
  • 1-2 years of experience in demand management, supply management, manufacturing planning, supply chain planning, and execution.
  • Inventory management and warehousing operations knowledge.
  • Computer literacy (MS Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • SAP (S/4 HANA Production Module) experience is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.
  • Good work attitude and willingness to learn.
