Job Title

The Programme Coordinator will contribute to the programme needs of Caregiver Support Services under the Community-Based Support Services (CSS). He/She will be involved in the planning, coordinating and executing of programme events and activities that suit the needs of families of persons with intellectual and developmental needs.

A proactive thinker, resourceful and responsible team player, he/she works closely with colleagues across to plan each programme and to guide partners/volunteers/vendors in the smooth delivery of programme activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct needs assessment to support development of programmes based on client/caregivers' needs.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for implementation of programmes.
  • Delivery of programmes that impact our client/caregivers, including programme evaluation.
  • Take stock of programme resources (hardware and software) and provide updates to supervisor.
  • Source, guide and coordinate partners/volunteers/vendors in executing assigned events and/or activities.
  • Coordinate with internal and external agencies for the execution of assigned events and/or activities.
  • Manage communications and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Support outreach efforts to targeted client/caregiver group/s, other organisations and the community.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma/Degree with 1- 2 years working experience.
  • Social Service sector / programme management experience will be an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
  • Willingness to be hands-on with strong communication and good interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and have a strong Interest towards understanding and serving Persons with Intellectual Disability and their caregivers.
  • Demonstrates understanding of and commitment towards core values.
  • Self-driven and a team player.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
