Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our large-scale e-commerce user profiling system.


Responsibilities
  • Design and develop core high-concurrency systems in the e-commerce chain.
  • Develop and optimize data systems for business scenarios involving hundreds of billions of data records.
  • Participate in the development and optimization of Shopee's large-scale e-commerce user profiling system.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficient in at least one of Java or Golang, with solid programming skills and good coding practices.
  • Familiar with common software engineering practices, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Familiar with the principles and usage of HBase, ClickHouse, Kafka, Redis, with expertise in one or more preferred.
  • Knowledge of Linux systems, networking, distributed architecture, caching, and message queues.
