Job Description

Citibank N.A. is seeking a highly skilled Vice President Data Analytics Lead Analyst to join our team in Singapore.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone who can commit to it.
  • The role involves working with our Digital Solutions and Innovation (DSI) team within the Citi Internal Audit function.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing analytics technology and tools to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Key responsibilities include participating in innovative use of audit analytics, leadership and subject matter expertise in audit process improvements, defining data needs, designing and executing audit analytics during audits, and proactively developing automated routines to help focus audit testing.
  • You will also assist audit teams in performing moderately complex audits related to consumer banking, investment banking, risk, finance, compliance, and/or technology.
  • Other duties may include providing coaching to audit team members on the use of analytics and automation, supporting the provision of analytics training, and overseeing and supporting other members of the Analytics and Automation team.

About You:

  • We are looking for someone with at least 8 years of business/audit analyst experience in providing analytical techniques and automated solutions to business needs.
  • You should have excellent technical, programming, and databases skills, as well as strong interpersonal and multicultural skills for interfacing with all levels of internal and external audit and management.
  • A self-driven problem-solving approach, understanding of procedures, and attention to quality and security of processes are essential.
  • Data literacy and ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders are also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in one or more of the following technical skills: SQL, Python, Hadoop ecosystem, Alteryx.
  • Experience with big data analysis, including big data dedicated use like HUE, Hive.
  • Knowledge of Gen-AI and prompt engineering would be a plus.
  • Working with non-structured data such as PDF files is also beneficial.
