Mechanical Engineer - Design and Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and Develop Mechanical Components:
      • Conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical components and systems that meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
      • Conduct structural and functional analysis to ensure designs are feasible and effective.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate smart technologies into mechanical systems.
    • Prototyping and Testing:
      • Create and refine prototypes to test durability, efficiency, and safety of mechanical systems.
      • Plan and execute testing protocols to validate system performance.
      • Analyze test data to implement design improvements and optimize product performance.
    • Manufacturing Support:
      • Provide technical expertise to production teams to ensure seamless manufacturing processes.
      • Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and BOMs.
      • Identify and resolve design-related manufacturing issues promptly.
    • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
      • Assist after-sales and customer service teams in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues in the field.
      • Recommend and implement design updates to improve reliability and reduce maintenance requirements.
    • Innovation and Research:
      • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance product offerings.
      • Contribute to the development of next-generation solutions, such as energy-efficient systems and IoT-enabled equipment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years in mechanical design, preferably in waste management, heavy equipment, or hydraulics.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Strong understanding of hydraulics, structural mechanics, and material properties. Familiarity with IoT or sensor integration is an advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
