We are seeking an experienced freight trader with a strong track record of success in the global dry bulk market.

Job Description

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for executing buy and sell orders for Supra-Panamax vessels, leveraging market intelligence and analysis to optimize trading decisions and maximize profitability. This involves monitoring global market trends, freight rates, and vessel supply-demand dynamics to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and capitalize on market fluctuations.

The successful candidate will also build relationships with ship owners, charterers, brokers, and other stakeholders to source cargo and vessel opportunities, negotiate contracts, and foster long-term partnerships.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, maritime studies, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in freight trading, focusing on Supra-Panamax vessels within the dry bulk sector.
  • Proven ability to generate consistent profits, manage trading risks effectively, and interpret market data.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in market analysis tools, and ability to forecast trends and make informed decisions.
