Tree Care Professional

This role involves the assessment, maintenance and management of trees within our landscape projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Landscape Manager to deliver professional arboriculture services in compliance with industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Tree Assessment & Inspection: Regular inspections and health assessments of trees are conducted to identify risks, diseases and structural issues.
  • Tree Maintenance: Pruning, removal, bracing and other arboriculture practices are carried out using safe and approved methods.
  • WSH Compliance: All arboriculture work is performed in strict adherence to safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment and risk management procedures.
  • Tree Inventory & Documentation: Accurate records of tree locations, health status, maintenance activities and recommendations for future actions are maintained.
  • Emergency Response: Tree-related emergencies such as fallen trees or hazardous limbs are responded to promptly, providing expert advice and action to mitigate risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Landscape Manager, Horticulturist and other team members to plan and implement tree care programmes.
  • Client and Regulatory Liaison: Expert advice is provided to clients and authorities on tree preservation, conservation and legal requirements.
  • Training & Development: Mentor and train junior staff on arboriculture best practices and safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Arboriculture, Horticulture or related field is required.
  • Certification: ISA Certified Arborist or equivalent is required; WSQ certification in Landscape Operations or Arboriculture is an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in arboriculture or tree care, preferably within Singapore is required.
  • WSH Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety guidelines and safe work practices for tree care is essential.
