We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sports Operations Manager to join our team. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills to manage day-to-day activities, ensure smooth execution of sports programs, and deliver high-quality events.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, manage, and execute sports programs, training sessions, and events from concept to completion.
- Coordinate closely with coaches, trainers, and administrative staff to ensure efficient scheduling and smooth operations.
- Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and inventory management of sports equipment, apparel, and facility supplies.
- Maintain sports facilities to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
- Work with internal teams such as marketing, finance, and HR to support organizational goals and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant sports governing bodies, health and safety regulations, and organizational policies.
- Manage event logistics, including venue setup, staffing, ticketing, crowd management, and emergency protocols.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance, event services, and equipment procurement.
- Diploma in Sports Management, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in sports operations, facility management, or event management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- In-depth understanding of sports event operations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
