Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Home Ownership Support Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting families in achieving their goal of homeownership. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with families to understand their needs and develop personalized plans to help them achieve homeownership.

The Home Ownership Support Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to support families in overcoming barriers to homeownership, including affordability, suitability, and eligibility. This will involve conducting comprehensive assessments, providing guidance and education, and connecting families with relevant resources and government assistance programs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of housing policies and processes, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, community partners, and families. They will also be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accurate and confidential records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of families' home ownership needs and challenges
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to support families in achieving homeownership
  • Provide guidance and education on home ownership-related topics, including affordability, suitability, and eligibility
  • Connect families with relevant resources and government assistance programs
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of family progress and outcomes

  • Strong understanding of housing policies and processes
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, community partners, and families
