Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department related to e-commerce.

  • Preparing timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinating and completing annual audits, providing information and answers to auditors.
  • Implementing and maintaining e-commerce compliance policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Conducting risk assessments and ensuring necessary measures are taken to mitigate financial risks.
  • Overseeing tax compliance and filings, ensuring adherence to local and international tax laws.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with financial goals and compliance needs.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key financial performance indicators and metrics.
  • Researching and implementing relevant accounting software to enhance financial tracking and reporting.
  • Staying updated on industry trends related to e-commerce accounting and compliance regulations.
  • Providing training and support to staff on financial compliance and best practices.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements for e-commerce businesses.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
