Job Opportunity

The appointed candidate will teach A Level ICT subject to high school students as well as IGCSE for middle years students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the curriculum for students, helping them develop confidence and proficiency in the subject, a love of learning, and preparation for success in the Cambridge international exams.
  • Support students in building critical and creative thinking skills through inquiry, observation, and experimentation.
  • Maintain records and documentation of each student's learning and progress.
  • Conduct effective parent conferences, providing detailed assessments of the student's development and relevant examples of their learning activities.
  • Engage with co-teachers through collaboration and discussion of individual students' needs and daily curriculum planning.
  • Interact with students using a positive, supportive, respectful, and open-minded attitude, language, and tone.
  • Remain alert at all times on site to the safety and well-being of the students.
  • Support students' social and emotional growth.
  • Encourage and provide opportunities for parents to participate in classroom experiences.
Requirements

We are seeking a qualified educator with:

  • Bachelor of Education or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in ICT subjects (e.g. Computer Science).
  • Commitment to working in an educational environment that offers academic rigour and excellence in teaching.
  • Understanding of and experience in working in an IB Programme, Cambridge IGCSE, and A Level is desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of curriculum pedagogy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sensitivity toward cultural diversities.
  • Ability to build community through positive interactions with parents.
