Role Summary
NIE invites suitable applications for an Executive position in the English Language and Literature (ELL) Department. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the department in various areas including course administration, timetabling, examination matters, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage course administration, timetabling, and examination matters for Teachers' Language Development courses offered by ELL.
- Verify reimbursement claims and process purchase requests from research staff.
- Support Institutional Review Board (IRB) and research grant related matters.
- Oversee asset management, facilities, and workspace allocations for faculty and staff.
- Assist in processing external consultancy applications.
- Handle new faculty, staff, and visiting scholars induction.
- Provide support to visiting scholars and maintain Department webpages on Sitefinity platform.
- Support conferences, seminars, and webinars organized by the Department.
- Polytechnic Diploma.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in education institutions.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Possess good communication and collaborative skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Service-oriented individual with a pleasant personality and positive learning attitude.
