Job Description
NIE invites suitable applications for an administrative support position in the English Language and Literature (ELL) Department. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the department in various areas including course administration, timetabling, examination matters, and more. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing course administration, timetabling, and examination matters for Teachers' Language Development courses offered by ELL.
- Verifying reimbursement claims and processing purchase requests from research staff.
- Supporting Institutional Review Board (IRB) and research grant related matters.
- Overseeing asset management, facilities, and workspace allocations for faculty and staff.
- Assisting in processing external consultancy applications.
- Handling new faculty, staff, and visiting scholars induction.
- Providing support to visiting scholars and maintaining Department webpages on Sitefinity platform.
- Supporting conferences, seminars, and webinars organized by the Department.
- Polytechnic Diploma.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in education institutions.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Possess good communication and collaborative skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Service-oriented individual with a pleasant personality and positive learning attitude.
