Imaging Support Specialist

As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging support and assisting with interventional cardiovascular procedures in our Cardiovascular Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver diagnostic imaging services that meet established standards.
  • Verify patient identity before examinations and obtain necessary consents.
  • Ensure image quality meets optimal standards prior to release.
  • Enter examination codes accurately into the system.
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and the public by minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Perform on-call responsibilities as required.
  • Conduct daily equipment checks to ensure performance.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Applied Science (Radiography) or Diploma in Radiography.
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Radiographer.
  • Prior experience in angiography is advantageous.
