Key Responsibilities
  • Calypso System Administration: Provide day-to-day administration of the Calypso system, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Back Office Operations: Ensure the efficient processing of trades, settlements, and other back office functions within the Calypso system.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the Calypso system with other systems and applications.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including MMSR reporting.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with Calypso as a back office system.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Java, PL/SQL, and Linux.
  • Calypso Version: Experience with Calypso version 16.
  • Functional Knowledge: Hands-on experience in Calypso Back office functionalities, including Engines, Events, Filters, Reporting Framework, Scheduled Task, Message/Swift messages, Transfers, Settlement Delivery Instructions, Accounting, Pricers, Workflows, and Reconciliation functionalities.
  • Financial Knowledge: Understanding of financial assets (FX, money market, cash) and trade lifecycle.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with regulatory reporting (MMSR).
