Operational Excellence Strategist

Careers@Gov is seeking an Operational Excellence Strategist to join the Strategic Operations Department. As a member of our team, you will drive operational excellence across the Youth Preventive Service (YPS) Group.

About the Role

The Operational Excellence Strategist will play a pivotal role in driving process optimisation and digital transformation to achieve operation efficiency and quality services. You will serve as the operational control tower, providing strategic and operation analysis and insights to inform executive decision-making and policy reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Operational Excellence Strategies: Plan and develop operational excellence strategies, including the Operational Excellence and OpsTech Strategy Blueprint.
  • Implement Operational Technology Solutions: Implement operational technology solutions to optimize patient care operations and outcomes.
  • Operational Control Tower: Serve as the operational control tower, overseeing real-time operations performance metrics, coordinating resources, and providing critical insights to the YPS Management team for strategic decision-making and policy reviews.
  • Liaison between Departments: Liaison between cross-functional departments and divisions to facilitate collaboration and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Risk Management Framework: Lead regular review of the YPS Group's risk management framework for continuous improvement, ensuring proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks to maintain organizational resilience and service continuity.
Requirements:
  • 8+ Years of Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management, process improvement, or a related field. Healthcare and/or clinical operations preferred, but not necessary for consideration.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in driving operational excellence and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Leadership Experience: Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven results in working with a wide spectrum of stakeholders.
  • Industry Best Practices: Knowledge of industry best practices in operational excellence and digital transformation.
What We Offer:
  • S$120,000 - S$180,000 per annum: A competitive salary range based on your experience and qualifications.
