Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our Global Electronics Process Engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex improvement and engineering change projects in the consumer industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive process development and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external EMS partners to develop and implement process methodologies and value engineering findings.
  • Mitigate and resolve potential risks related to timelines, deadlines, budgets, and change requests.
  • Act as a central point of contact and advisor for process development and improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process engineering functional expertise in areas such as SMT, DFx, Inspection Platforms, PFMEA, Process Control Plan, and Value Engineering.
  • Conduct data analysis to improve process performance and justify cost benefits.
  • Drive process engineering function in Life after launch projects.
  • Conduct sample runs and trial runs to release equipment and processes for Life after launch projects.
  • Analyze and interpret test and quality data to prepare technical reports.
  • Conduct cost analysis, verification, and comparison to derive process cost benefits.
  • Supervise evaluations and trials to prove-in new equipment or processes.
  • Assess supplier line configuration and line balancing using MTM knowledge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in an Engineering-related field or equivalent working experience.
  • 6 Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • 5 years or more of experience in defining line and process setup in the electronics industry (SMT and Box Build operations).
  • Strong ability to conduct cost and risk analysis.
  • In-depth working experience with EMS partners, particularly in process steps and cost relationships.
  • Curiosity and ability to provide good initiatives.
  • Willingness to learn, take challenges, and collaborate.
  • Good SMT and test methodology knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Time Studies, Line Balancing, Lean Manufacturing, Bottleneck Analysis, and cost association.
  • Good interpersonal communication and proficient in English.
  • Excellent English communication skills in oral, written, and presentation.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly within Asia.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of typical chemicals used in electronics manufacturing, traceability, and production lot control, Business Intelligence tools, Costing sheet construction, and End-to-End factory operations.
