We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Renewable Energy Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design process for solar power projects from conceptualization to implementation.

The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of solar energy projects. The candidate will have expertise in optimizing solar system designs and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and engineering review process for EPCs' master document list submission, including system sizing, layout optimization, solar structural design, and balance of system engineering.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external EPCs to integrate solar PV systems with existing infrastructure and building designs, including system components to suit site conditions and in accordance with solar engineering standards (IEC, Singapore Standards, etc).
  • Handle structural design submissions to HDB for SolarNova projects and ensure they meet all rules and requirements. Work with HDB and EPC Professional Engineers to answer questions or update designs to get approvals.

Requirements:

For this role, we are looking for a professional with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, civil/structural engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the design and engineering of solar power systems, preferably in the construction industry.

Key skills include in-depth knowledge of solar PV technologies, components, and system configurations, familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in Singapore, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
