SAP ERP Implementation Expert

Key Responsibilities:


Requirements Collection:

Engage with various business units to thoroughly understand and document the business requirements, focusing on procurement, finance, and Enterprise Asset Management functionalities.


Business Architecture and Process Documentation:

Create detailed documentation of our current business architecture and processes, emphasizing the integration and optimization of procurement, finance, and Enterprise Asset Management process and modules within the new SAP system.


RFP Preparation:

Develop an RFP pack that encompasses all business requirements, with a particular focus on the functionalities of procurement, finance, and Enterprise Asset Management modules, alongside other essential criteria for vendor evaluation.


Vendor Evaluation:

Spearhead the RFP process, meticulously evaluating SAP vendors and their products against our specific business needs, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of procurement, finance, and Enterprise Asset Management capabilities.


Recommendation and Reporting:

Deliver a detailed analysis and recommendation for the SAP solution that best aligns with our procurement, finance, and Enterprise Asset Management requirements, supported by thorough justifications based on business needs, cost, scalability, and vendor support.


Implementation Oversight:

Work closely with the selected vendor and internal teams to oversee the implementation of the SAP system. Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving issues encountered during the testing and implementation phases. Ensure the project stays on track with the timeline, addressing any issues promptly.


Change Management:

Lead and facilitate change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption during the SAP system transition. Develop strategies for managing change impacts on staff and operations, ensuring stakeholder engagement and effective communication throughout the process.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of relevant SAP systems experience
  • Degree in Information Technology or Business Information Systems
  • Certifications in project management and change management methodologies

Benefits:

Extensive experience as an SAP Consultant, with specific expertise in the evaluation, selection, and successful implementation of SAP systems encompassing procurement, finance, and Enterprise Asset Management modules.

Strong foundation in change management principles and practices, with proven ability to lead organizations through significant system transitions.

Direct experience in business process reengineering, particularly in the contexts of procurement, finance, and Enterprise Asset Management.

Project management capabilities, specifically in SAP implementation projects, including RFP preparation and vendor evaluation.
