Job Title

Junior College Educator

The primary duties and responsibilities of a Junior College Teacher include the following:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons for General Paper/Project Work to foster intellectual growth and development among students.
  • Evaluate student performance through assignments and assessments, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Monitor students' social development through counselling and collaboration with parents to ensure a supportive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to address the pastoral and cognitive needs of students.
Key Responsibilities

Delivering High-Quality Lessons

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for General Paper/Project Work that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely, actionable feedback to promote academic excellence.
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to create a conducive learning environment.
Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • A good undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline is required.
  • A Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in South East Asian History and International History is essential.
  • Familiarity with the GCE 'A' level History syllabus is required.
