Crisis Planning Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned operations manager to oversee the readiness and resilience of our organization. This role will involve designing and implementing crisis preparedness strategies, emergency response frameworks, and business continuity plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide operational management direction and leadership for the department.
- Design and implement crisis preparedness strategies, emergency response frameworks, and business continuity plans.
- Oversight of ongoing readiness and resilience of the organisation, including incident management and reporting, compliance with national standards and regulatory requirements.
This includes risk assessments, tabletop exercises, simulation drills, and engagement with internal departments, external agencies, and emergency services.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in hospital operations management.
- Prior experience in healthcare emergency preparedness and crisis management is advantageous.
- A Registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM) licence is required; Senior FSM licence is advantageous.
- Additional certifications such as WSQ Emergency Response Management and WSQ Implement Incident Management Processes are advantageous.
