Electronic Music Equipment Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented repair technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of musical instruments and gear, including amplifiers, mixers, synthesizers, pedals, digital pianos, electronic drums, and other electronic devices.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair electronic music equipment, including amplifiers, mixers, keyboards, synthesizers, effect pedals, digital pianos, electronic drums, and more.
  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify faults and ensure proper functionality.
  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and firmware updates on electronic music devices.
  • Solder and replace electronic components as needed.
  • Liaise with suppliers for troubleshooting support and procurement of spare parts.
  • Liaise with customers to provide resolutions for their repairs and answer their inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service timelines.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding equipment care and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an electronic repair technician, preferably with musical equipment.
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits, troubleshooting techniques, and soldering skills.
  • Familiarity with various brands and models of electronic music equipment.
  • Ability to read schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Experience using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
