Medison is hiring a Head of Accounting APAC with strong leadership skills that will lead our accounting activity in the region, working together with APAC management, FP&A, IT, Treasury, Supply chain, Tax and other functions. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an accounting framework across APAC, ensuring consistency, scalability, and compliance with corporate standards.
  • Provide accounting & tax compliance support to regional stakeholders.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy in the financial reporting and closing process to allow for insight generation to support strategic decision-making.
  • Align regional financial and operational processes with corporate finance leadership.
  • Support APAC and country management in establishing, managing, and reporting on financial flows, ensuring alignment with APAC FP&A, APAC Supply Chain, and corporate guidelines to enhance efficiency in the region.
  • Establish and enforce internal controls frameworks, including expense management and travel policies.
  • Lead special financial initiatives as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Over 7 years of experience in a leading financial role in multinational companies.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with Big Four firm experience.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin, and/or Korean language.
  • Extensive experience with managing statutory reporting requirements in APAC.
  • In-depth knowledge of local tax, VAT/GST, and CIT requirements and APAC accounting laws, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical/biotech companies.
  • Capacity as a regional APAC finance manager position.
  • Aquaintance with NetSuite ERP Systems.
