Logistics Operations Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Transformation Leader to lead the evolution of our global supply chain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in logistics, DTC last mile fulfillment process and system transformations, preferably in a multinational organization.

About the Role
This pivotal position will be responsible for shaping and maintaining the business capabilities roadmap encompassing B2B third-party distribution logistics, warehousing activities through to B2C/DTC fulfillment, as well as designing and implementing state-of-the-art logistics/fulfillment processes and systems. The successful candidate will bring expertise in Agile methodology, SAP Logistics/EDI, Order Management Systems (OMS), Delivery Management Platform, 3PL integration, APIs, B2B/EDI, ANSI X12 messaging standards, distribution logistics, last mile commerce fulfillment, reverse logistics processes, change management initiatives, and technology solutions in logistics and fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate closely with Global Supply Chain to establish the capability roadmap and identify opportunities for improvements.
  2. Work collaboratively with other functional leads, identifying operational touchpoints, ensuring seamless functional integration of strategies into the long-term capability roadmap.
  3. Oversee a team responsible for managing logistics and fulfillment systems, encompassing roles such as product owners, program and project managers, and other relevant functions.
  4. Lead the creation and deployment of best practices to streamline processes, enhance efficiency and productivity.
  5. Establish Logistics and Fulfillment Centre of Excellence, define ways of working with cross-functional teams, governance and cadence including roles and responsibilities for managing incidents, SLAs, service requests, enhancements, business continuity plans and market activation.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, information technology or a related field.
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience leading logistics, DTC last mile fulfillment process and system transformations, preferably in a multinational organization.
  3. In-depth understanding of logistics, fulfillment and delivery management best practices, policies and procedures.
  4. Proficiency in Agile methodology, SAP Logistics/EDI, Order Management Systems (OMS), Delivery Management Platform, 3PL integration, APIs, B2B/EDI, ANSI X12 messaging standards.
