Cybersecurity Research Engineer

Join a dynamic team to contribute to cutting-edge cybersecurity research and development. As a Cybersecurity Research Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research to gain a comprehensive understanding of various operating system architectures and how their subsystems can be exploited by malware.

  • Conduct research to analyze the architecture of Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android operating systems, including kernel and subsystems.
  • Analyze emerging malware defense technologies, validate their effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform information security assessments through code audits, black box testing, reverse engineering, proof-of-concept simulations, and malware analysis.
  • Develop and maintain a security testing framework to enhance the effectiveness of our security measures.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • High proficiency in C++, Java, C#, and/or Python, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Windows, Android, and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with cryptography, network security, application security, and/or machine learning.
