Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in the supply chain, responsible for sourcing and managing the procurement of raw ingredients, packaging materials, and kitchen essentials to support food production.

This position requires a strategic thinker who can ensure consistent supply, cost efficiency, and quality compliance across all procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills and be able to maintain long-term supplier relationships.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and procure raw materials (meat, seafood, vegetables, dry goods, etc.) and packaging supplies for large-scale food production.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Work closely with production planners and kitchen teams to forecast demand and align procurement schedules.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate just-in-time deliveries to minimize waste and storage costs.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies to optimize cost savings.
  • Ensure all procured items meet food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits and quality checks.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of working experience
  • Bilingual in both English and Mandarin
  • Willingness to learn and adapt faster
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and sense of responsibility
  • Knowledge of supply chain in F&B Industries is an advantage
  • Able to work independently
