Job Title: Regional Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary:

The Regional Cybersecurity Specialist will play a critical role in addressing customer concerns related to cybersecurity for Bayer medical devices and DSB products in the APAC region. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with customer teams, regulatory, and legal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pre- and post-sale cybersecurity assessments and provide technical input to contracting processes.
  • Promptly respond to customer inquiries related to active vulnerabilities and Bayer's risk and mitigation evaluation status.
  • Supplement customer engagements as required, providing cybersecurity-specific technical expertise to support or advance the sales process.
  • Proactively coordinate with Global R&D to stay informed about current vulnerabilities and potential threats to Bayer medical devices and software solutions.
  • Assist with operationalizing local data privacy regulation compliance and security best practices.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory guidelines, industry trends, and emerging technologies related to cybersecurity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor, medical device, and SaaS cybersecurity assessments.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare IT/Radiology IT infrastructure and security best practices.
  • Prior user experience with SAP and CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of various cyber standards and data privacy regulations applicable to the APAC region.
  • Ability to understand, articulate, and solve medical device cybersecurity issues independently.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as a strong customer relationship focus and skillset.
