Job Description:

GE Aerospace is a global leader in the aerospace industry, and we are currently seeking a skilled Trainee Component Repair Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of conventional or CNC machines, including electrical discharge machines, laser machines, lathes, radial grinders, reciprocal grinders, milling machines, drilling machines, and specialized equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation engineering, aircraft engines maintenance, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or aircraft maintenance engineering. They will also be able to read and understand manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English.

As a Trainee Component Repair Technician, you will work rotating shifts and be willing to accept a 1-year bond after the program. You must be within 3 years of graduation or the operationally ready date (ORD) for national servicemen, and be a Singaporean/Singapore PR to meet Singapore government requirements.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

Full-time Nitec/Higher Nitec in Automation Engineering/Aircraft Engines Maintenance/Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering/Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from local ITE

Full-time Diploma in Aerospace Engineering/Mechatronics/Aeronautical Engineering/Aerospace Technology/Aerospace Avionics from local Polytechnics

Any relevant Full-time Nitec/Higher Nitec/Tech Diploma/Polytechnic Diploma or relevant engineering disciplines from local ITE or Polytechnics

Able to read and understand manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English

Able to work rotating shifts

Willing to accept a 1-year bond after the program

Within 3 years of graduation or the operationally ready date (ORD) for national servicemen
