Production Specialist

A job as a Production Specialist in a manufacturing facility involves various tasks and responsibilities.

Duties:

  • Dissemble aircraft components using specialized tools.
  • Perform trouble shooting, assembly, inspection, and testing of aircraft components.
  • Minor rework or call out the relevant repair scheme for each component.
  • Read and understand CMM, Service Bulletins, Standard Practices, or other relevant Airworthiness Data.
  • Document and record each component's process, sign, and stamp each stage of work performed, if applicable.
  • Release aircraft components to service after completing quality control checks.
  • Proficiently work on multiple products and have basic problem-solving skills.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, manage workload effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain personal work areas, workshops, shared facilities, and equipment to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
  • Actively participate in HSE initiatives, contribute to corporate HSE programs, and engage in HSE risk communications and mitigations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold a Diploma, Nitec, or Professional Certificate in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
  • Prior experience in aircraft component repairs and maintenance is preferred.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential.
  • Good computer and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Relevant CAAS papers will be considered an advantage.
