Job Title: Senior Category Specialist

As a Senior Category Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing category strategies to optimize cost and manage supply risk. This involves performing in-depth market, spend, and supplier base analyses, working closely with stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, and identifying joint sourcing opportunities across different business units.

To succeed in this role, you will lead sourcing activities for assigned categories, including scope and technical evaluation, TCO analysis, and negotiations. You will also work closely with legal teams to ensure seamless contracting processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience in procurement and category management, preferably in the data centre industry.
  • Technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical (M&E) fields.
  • Strong negotiation and contracting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
