Procurement Category Specialist
">The role involves working closely with senior stakeholders across different markets to identify opportunities for category management. The incumbent will be responsible for formulating and executing overall category management strategies, as well as taking ownership of category reporting and performance management.
">Key responsibilities include:
">- Supporting the VP in opportunity analysis within categories and cross-category initiatives;
- Following up with the Head of Categories on spend development and category performance;
- Conducting quantitative analysis within the category regarding both spend base and sourcing activities;
- Ensuring timely update of savings tracking systems by category teams;
- Preparing for and conducting management meetings, such as MBR and Board meetings.
Requirements for success in this role include a deep understanding of strategy and analysis within sourcing contexts, particularly in telecommunications ISIT categories. The ideal candidate will have excellent collaboration abilities, proven ability to communicate complex performance topics with senior stakeholders, and high level of integrity and ethics.
