Senior Mobile Application Development Manager">

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mobile Application Development Manager to lead our mobile application development projects. The successful candidate will have expertise in at least one mobile platform, a deep understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle, and excellent leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will be able to define project scope, goals, and timelines for mobile app development initiatives, create detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation strategies, monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation plans.

Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of mobile app developers, designers, testers, and other technical staff, assigning tasks, delegating responsibilities, and providing performance feedback.

Fostering a collaborative and productive work environment within the development team is crucial. The candidate should also define technical architecture and development standards for mobile applications, evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools for mobile app development, ensure adherence to coding best practices, quality standards, and security protocols.

Collaboration with stakeholders (product managers, business owners) to gather functional and non-functional requirements, analyzing user needs, and translating them into detailed design specifications for mobile apps are essential skills.

Oversight of the design process, including user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, monitoring the development process, ensuring timely delivery of features and functionalities, reviewing code, and conducting quality assurance checks to ensure application stability and performance are critical duties.

Managing the testing phase, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, coordinating app deployment to various app stores, and evaluating new technologies, frameworks, and tools for mobile app development are key responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of mobile app development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Expertise in at least one mobile platform (iOS or Android) and relevant programming languages (Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin).
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for project management.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and backend services.
