Environmental Manager

The role of Environmental Manager involves coordinating and managing initiatives focused on climate change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management of Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) calculations and climate change strategy
  • Coordination with cross-functional teams for a comprehensive view on climate mitigation, adaptation planning, and data reporting
  • Developing methodologies, training stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with applicable climate-related laws and standards
  • Supervising Climate Strategy by coordinating and managing projects related to climate mitigation and adaptation strategies
  • Leading Scope 3 GHG Emissions Management by working transversally with teams on emissions calculation projects and providing guidance on data collection and reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in sustainability, climate change, or environmental management, focusing on GHG accounting and project coordination
  • Strong knowledge of GHG Protocol, Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, familiarity with climate adaptation and mitigation frameworks, and experience with sustainability reporting tools and standards such as CDP and TCFD
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage diverse stakeholders, and an analytical mindset with attention to detail
