Senior Capacity Planning Engineer

Join Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte. Ltd. as a Senior Capacity Planning Engineer and take on the challenge of driving capacity improvement activities to meet flexcap targets. As a key member of the Assembly and Test Central Capacity Planning team, you will be responsible for ensuring that PC DRAM component assembly network capacity is optimized to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive various capacity improvement activities to meet flexcap targets
- Monitor SPO solve for short-term and analyze CSM bucket reports to ensure manufacturing sites have the needed capacity to perform as planned
- Understand the implications of modeling assumptions in CSM and SPO, and monitor SPO fill rate and resolve capacity issues impacting the 100% target
- CSM to SPO master data linkage and drive the quality of data input, monitor SPO solve by sites, and work with the supply chain team to influence/improve SPO solve quality
- Support tactical planning team whenever there is a capacity challenge to meet revenue
- Influence decision-making processes to optimize network capacity, quarterly/monthly to support network MSR/budgeting/funding activity via network capacity balancing, and coordinate sites to optimize capital process by initiating asset transfers in the global network
- Drive benchmarking process, work with site IE, MFG, and Engineering to understand and close gaps in workstation performance
- Work with scenario planning team to execute strategy and advise sites/other teams on strategy implementation
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing
- Understanding of capacity modeling concepts
- Strong analytical skills
- Able to efficiently perform what-if analysis and provide data-driven recommendations
- Good written communication and presentation skills
- Highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment with good integrity and character
- Ability to multitask and organize work systematically in meeting deadlines without compromising on quality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Keen in semiconductor industry
