Job Description

At Skyworks, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team in Singapore. As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in driving capacity planning and optimization, process improvement, and efficiency initiatives in our Wafer Fab operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement capacity models to ensure demand is met, working closely with planning, manufacturing, process, and equipment engineering teams.
  • Review and analyze capacity constraints, track cycle-to-cycle capacity changes, and identify bottlenecks to develop improvement projects.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), cycle time, and process efficiency.
  • Conduct time studies and update processes to optimize cycle time.
  • Drive capital and cash flow requirements, improving capital efficiency and reducing costs.
Requirements
  • BS in Industrial Engineering required, MS preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts, practices, and principles.
  • Preferred experience with Backend Assembly, Test, and Die packing.
  • Good communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written).
  • Possess Project Management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, continuous improvement analytical skills (6Sigma / 5S / Lean Manufacturing).
  • Ability to use software models to solve problems.
  • Must be a team player, detail-oriented, and work well with others and perform well under pressure.
  • Conduct time study on site.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Self-driven and self-motivated to get the job done.
  • 5+ years related experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, experience in Semiconductor Industry preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Microsoft Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, and Visio.
  • AutoCAD.
  • Simulation Software.
  • Experience with Reporting tools.
  • Advance Planning systems.
  • Reporting systems such as FabTime.
  • MES (Promis) basic knowledge.
