Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geological Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of geotechnical projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in geology and project management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their expectations.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing geotechnical projects, including soil investigation, drilling, and testing;
  • Supervising site teams and ensuring that all works are carried out safely and efficiently;
  • Coordinating with other stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors;
  • Preparing reports and presentations to communicate project progress and results to clients and stakeholders;

You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and to contribute to the development of our company's policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in geology or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with planning, coordination, and execution;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software quickly;
  • Valid driver's license (Class 4);

You will also be expected to have a strong understanding of geotechnical principles and practices, as well as experience with relevant equipment and software.

Benefits

  • Base salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum;
  • Overtime pay: 1.5 times base salary;
