Job Title: Operations Manager, South East Asia

Join Tidewater Offshore Operations Pte. Ltd. as an Operations Manager, South East Asia, and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and operational expertise. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vessels in the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the full spectrum of operations department and ensure the smooth operation of vessels under the control of the APAC region.
  • Act as the focal point for vessel, client, third-party, and intra-company liaison on matters concerning daily reporting and general operational matters.
  • Oversee vessel movements, QHSE, procurement, agency, documentation, and statutory compliance.
  • Ensure urgent issues in operational or manning are prioritized and resolved immediately.
  • Address all important administrative issues within the APAC outport.
  • Support Company activities regarding quality, health, safety, and environmental policy.
  • Develop a strong understanding of requirements within the ISO and ISM standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nautical studies or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or in lieu of degree, Professional certifications (such as Master Mariner, Certificate of Competency) with more than 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Commercial Maritime Qualification (CMQ) and industry experience in an offshore support vessel environment.
  • Marine Orders and a strong understanding of maritime regulations, including SOLAS and MARPOL.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Commercial acumen and analytical and risk management skills.
