About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Technical Officer to join our team at Asia Infrastructure Solutions PTE. LTD. as a Lead Resident Technical Officer. This is a key role that requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Supervision: Supervise construction works, maintain quality control, and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, design intent, approved drawings, and site instructions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that contractors carry out their work in compliance with prevailing regulations set up by building authorities and government agencies.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect materials and workmanship of construction work, and perform tests to check the quality of materials.
  • Design Review: Review project drawings and specifications, and raise any discrepancies and/or potential problems to the appointed Qualified Person and project consultants/clients.
  • Communication: Attend meetings with qualified persons and project consultants/clients, and assist in preparing progress reports.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Perform other ad hoc duties as and when directed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Civil & Structural (C&S) Engineering, or possess at least the National Construction Certificate of Supervision (NCCS).
  • Certifications: Accredited as a C&S Resident Technical Officer (RTO) by Institution of Engineering Singapore (IES) or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in site supervision of HDB BTO projects.
  • Skills: Good knowledge and experience in architectural, Civil & structural, and M&E works, and certificate in BCSS (Building Construction Safety Supervision) or other similar construction-safety certification.
