Senior People Strategist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Human Resources professional to lead our team in driving HR strategies, initiatives, and programs that enhance employee experience and business outcomes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to senior stakeholders, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, managing day-to-day HR operations, and driving talent development and performance management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for front office, middle and back office teams on HR matters.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand team needs and provide relevant HR solutions.
  • Lead and elevate our performance management and talent development strategies to unlock the full potential of our people and drive a high-performance culture.
  • Develop and implement learning programs (internal and external) that support employee development and compliance needs.
  • Track training effectiveness and maintain accurate records of learning activities.
  • Support change management and organizational development initiatives.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, HRIS updates, and employee documentation.
  • Assist in reviewing and implementing other HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects to enhance HR processes and employee experience.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Min. 8 years of HR experience covering Training & Development, Performance Management & others general HR matters, ideally in a financial services or technology/start-up environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment regulations and HR best practices.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently in a lean team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance driven environment.
  • Comfortable supporting senior stakeholders and advising on sensitive HR issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English is required to support internal communications and liaise with Mandarin and English-speaking stakeholders.
