Job Overview

We are THE MOVING VISUALS CO. PTE. LTD., a leading content provider in Asia, producing high-quality documentaries, entertainment, children's programming, and formats.

We are seeking a creative and dynamic writer/director to join our English and Chinese Departments.

The ideal candidate must have a flair for language, knowledge of the medium, and be able to research and write engaging stories that touch people, make social statements, or bring historical events to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write broadcast content for various platforms
  • Research profiles and storylines to create compelling narratives
  • Brainstorm and generate ideas for new projects
  • Maintain bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin/Malay
  • Prior experience in writing and directing is preferred but not required
Requirements:
  • Degree in Communications, Creative Writing, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in content creation, writing, or directing
  • Strong understanding of storytelling principles and narrative structures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
Salary:

$5,000 - $7,000 per month (dependent on experience)
