[EdTech] Chinese Product and Content Lead

Introduction:

We are an innovative EdTech company on a mission to revolutionize children’s learning experiences. With our subscription-based platform, we aim to provide engaging and impactful tools for young learners worldwide. We are now expanding into Chinese language learning and are looking for a visionary leader to join our team.


Job Summary:
We are seeking a Chinese Product and Content Lead to spearhead the development of a cutting-edge digital product that makes learning Chinese fun and effective for children. You will oversee the end-to-end product and content strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional user experience.


Job Description:

· Work with the Founder to lead the conceptualization and development of a Chinese language learning product for children.

· Design and implement a curriculum and content framework aligned with language proficiency goals (e.g., HSK, CEFR).

· Collaborate with designers, developers, and educational experts to create interactive and gamified learning experiences.

· Research and incorporate best practices in Chinese language pedagogy and EdTech trends.

· Recruit and manage content creators, voice actors, and localization specialists as needed.

· Ensure the cultural authenticity and age-appropriateness of all content.

· Gather and analyze user feedback to optimize product features and content.

· Monitor key metrics related to product engagement, learning outcomes, and retention.


Requirements and Qualifications:

· Native or near-native proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) and fluency in English.

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Chinese Studies, or a related field.

· Proven experience in developing educational content or digital products, preferably in language learning.

· Strong understanding of Chinese language pedagogy, especially for children.

· Experience in managing cross-functional teams and project timelines.

· Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for education and technology.

· Familiarity with gamification, multimedia content production, or curriculum design is a plus.
