Environmental Sustainability Professional

Job Summary:

  As a vital team member, you will be responsible for ensuring that our workplace adheres to rigorous environmental and health standards. Your role will encompass various tasks, including accident investigations, monitoring compliance with permits and regulations, and developing effective communication strategies across departments.

  • Investigate accidents and identify root causes to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor compliance with permits, licenses, and statutory regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) communications strategies across departments and stakeholders.
  • Utilize problem-solving tools to address complex EHS challenges.
  • Support site audits for various ISO certifications.
  • Perform regular equipment audits and support workplace inspections and meetings.
  • Track and analyze EHS performance metrics to identify hazards and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in emergency response training and exercises.
  • Deliver EHS awareness programs for all staff levels to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in process safety assessments and review risk documentation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Environmental Science.
  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (RWSHO) certification is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry is advantageous.
