About the RoleThis role offers an exciting opportunity to redefine how customers shop grocery in Singapore, building a best-in-class shopping experience for Baby & Beauty products. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, creating and implementing business strategies, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Create and implement business strategies for vendors' businesses, including managing negotiations and peak periods.
- Take a pivotal role in defining and driving Fresh business strategy.
- Manage selection through strong vendor relationships, assessing market procurement conditions, recommending terms, and implementing procurement strategies.
- Be responsible for promotional campaigns, in-stock management, product management, quality management, and vendor performance communications.
- Monitor and research industry and competitive trends to make Amazon's offering the best for customers.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting experience with negotiations and delivering results.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Proven commercial knowledge and experience.
