Job Summary

The Data Governance Manager role involves overseeing the implementation of data governance controls to ensure the sustainability and reliability of products and solutions.

This position requires a strategic thinker with expertise in data security management, collaboration skills, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving projects, coordinating among stakeholders, and running day-to-day operations of data security controls.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for defining business goals and frameworks on data governance controls, proposing solutions to implement the controls, and leading projects end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define business goals and framework on data governance controls, align with senior management. Propose solutions to implement the controls.
  • Drive projects to develop and implement the solutions and controls. Define clear projects' objective and scope, plan the project timeline and align with the main stakeholders.
  • Lead the projects end to end. Drive the project's execution as the owner and be accountable for achieving the expected goals.
  • Coordinate among various internal stakeholders, including Cyber Security team, IT Compliance team, Regional Operations team, Product & Engineering team etc.
  • Run the day-to-day operations of data security controls, such access reviews and incident investigation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above with a major in engineering would be preferable.
  • 3+ years of experience, experience in data security management would be a plus.
  • Proven ability to structure and solve complex problems, collaborate across varied stakeholders and communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
  • Self-driven, positive attitude and team player striving for team success.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin will be a plus to facilitate cross-border collaborations.
