As a seasoned Energy Systems Expert, you will spearhead the technical development and delivery of cutting-edge energy solutions. Your journey begins with the AGIL Battery Management System (BMS) and expands into innovative applications such as solid-state battery technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and integrate advanced battery management systems and energy technologies like solid-state batteries.
  • Conduct in-depth power system studies, including load flow, protection coordination, and stability analysis.
  • Oversight of system integration efforts for energy storage and power distribution systems.
  • Provide high-level technical guidance throughout project life cycles from proposal to commissioning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineers, to deliver complete solutions.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, including specifications, reports, and design packages.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate them into engineering solutions.
  • Mentor and supervise junior engineers and serve as a technical reviewer for engineering deliverables.
  • Evaluate designs against relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Pursue strategic initiatives, such as the Agile Energy Services Hub, and contribute to business growth areas.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in power systems engineering or energy technology development.
  • Proven expertise in battery management systems and/or energy storage system integration.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics, control systems, and embedded systems.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as PSCAD, ETAP, PSSE, or MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC) and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills, with experience leading engineering teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working on R&D or innovation projects is an asset.
