As a Medical Pathologist in Hematology, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting hematological samples to assist in diagnosing and managing blood-related disorders.
\Your key responsibilities will include analyzing various hematological specimens such as peripheral blood smears, bone marrow aspirates/biopsies, and conducting tests like CBC, ESR, reticulocyte count, coagulation profiles, D-dimer, and hemoglobin electrophoresis.
\You will be responsible for diagnosing conditions such as anemia, leukemias, lymphomas, clotting disorders, and supervising the results obtained from automated hematology analyzers.
\Correlating laboratory findings with clinical data to offer valuable diagnostic insights and provide accurate hematopathology reports in a timely manner will be your primary focus.
\Collaboration with clinicians, hematologists, and laboratory staff will be essential to ensure comprehensive patient care.
\Required Skills and Qualifications\Key qualifications include:
