Cyber Security Specialist Position

Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cyber security specialist to join our organization. As a key member of the information security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our IT solutions and infrastructure.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert security consultancy, technical guidance, and education to stakeholders on application and infrastructure security design.

  • Advise application and infrastructure teams on security best practices and provide training on secure coding techniques.

  • Develop and maintain cyber risk management frameworks and perform regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.

  • Analyze security test results, reviews, and audits to ensure security assurance is achieved and propose remediation tasks as necessary.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and at least 5 years of experience in information security.

  • Professional security certifications (CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, CCSP) are highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of secure application development techniques, including secure by design principles and source code review.

  • Familiarity with common web/mobile application vulnerabilities and knowledge of DevSecOps, Agile, and OWASP Top 10.
