Job Title: Cybersecurity Expert - Threat Hunting Specialist

Join our Global Threat Hunting Centre as a Cybersecurity Expert - Threat Hunting Specialist and play a pivotal role in detecting and mitigating cyber threats across the Banking group globally. As part of this critical function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing threat hunting programs that are intelligence-led, continuous, and effective.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in threat hunting and detection engineering, with a proven track record of identifying and mitigating complex cyber threats. You will work closely with global cybersecurity teams to build a robust and resilient cyber defence posture.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing threat hunting programs that align with business objectives
  • Applying advanced detection engineering techniques to identify and mitigate emerging threats
  • Collaborating with global SOC, Threat Intelligence, and Incident Response operations to ensure timely response to global incidents
  • Participating in global initiatives related to threat detection and log collection

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience in threat hunting and detection engineering
  • Proven track record of identifying and mitigating complex cyber threats
  • Strong understanding of threat intelligence and incident response
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

You will also need to have a strong technical skillset, including proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.

In addition, you will need to have a good understanding of cloud computing platforms and containerisation technologies.

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is essential, and relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
