Senior Manager – IT Project Delivery
Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager to lead our IT project delivery team in the APAC region. As a key member of our organization, you will drive forward commercial logistics projects, overseeing project timelines, risk factors, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Define clear project scope, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring all timelines are met and quality standards upheld.
- Budget Management: Create, manage, and track project budgets, ensuring alignment between forecast and actual expenses.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality metrics to ensure optimal project delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate and coordinate all change impacts with stakeholders, securing approvals and aligning on resources.
- Presentation: Present IT solutions effectively to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct workshops to gather requirements and develop actionable implementation roadmaps.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with internal teams and external customers, ensuring expectations are clear and progress is tracked.
- Relationship Building: Build productive relationships with IT Heads and senior stakeholders across the region, ensuring cohesive project delivery.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification: Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent).
- Experience: 8+ years in IT project management within supply chain/logistics, with a strong focus on solution design and customer-facing roles.
- Skills: Proficiency in WMS, TMS, and EDI standards, along with experience in application development, integration, and various contract logistics models.
- Regional Knowledge: Proven experience in large, global organizations and cross-functional environments.
- Language Skills: Exceptional English proficiency, with additional language skills in Asia preferred; adept at translating technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Skilled in assessing and mitigating technical and business risks, with a strong analytical approach to complex challenges.
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to address and resolve conflicts, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- IT Frameworks: Familiarity with IT frameworks such as ITIL or Agile.
- Travel: Willingness to travel across the APAC region as needed.
$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
