Frontend AI/ML Developer">

The Role:

We're seeking an experienced Frontend AI/ML Developer to join our dynamic Generative AI Assistant (GAIA) project team. As a key member of the team, you will design and develop scalable solutions, lead React/Svelte frontend implementation, and deploy applications in Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and test agile, user-centric AI/ML products (web applications & web services)
  • Develop and implement responsive, high-performance frontend designs
  • Build APIs and integrate data from various sources
  • Deploy and manage applications in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Avoiding technology debt by adopting best practices in software engineering, including code reviews and test-driven development
  • Troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining robust, scalable applications

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • At least 2 years' experience in software/firmware development
  • Strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript, and/or Svelte
  • Proven frontend development experience (React, Svelte, or similar)
  • Proficiency in containerization tools (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with Linux/Windows OS and open-source communities
  • Experience in REST APIs, web services, and messaging protocols (e.g., MQTT)
  • Knowledge or exposure to machine learning algorithms is a plus
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
